Affordable, flexible counselling centred around you
We keep our fees simple and transparent so you always know where you stand. Your session fee is paid at the time of booking, which means you stay in control of your appointments and never have to worry about invoices or chasing payments. The assessment has a small fee too, and as a thank you for starting your journey with us we deduct that amount from your twelfth counselling session.
You can manage your sessions entirely online. Booking, rescheduling and cancelling are all done through your account, giving you flexibility to plan therapy around your life. If you need to cancel, you can do so at any time up to 48 hours before your session and receive a full refund. Everything is designed to be straightforward, fair and centred around your needs.
Clinical Assessment for £25
This is a chance for you to tell us a little about what you would like to gain from our online counselling services. It also helps your assessor match you with one of our counsellors. Our 30-minute Clinical Assessment fee is £25, is refunded to you at session 12, and is payable at the point of booking through our system.
Core Counselling Sessions £25 per session
Each session lasts fifty minutes and costs £25. You can pay securely through our online booking system, which makes it easy to choose a time that suits you and manage your appointments in one place. There are no hidden charges or extra admin. Just a straightforward process that supports both you and the counsellors who give their time to the service.
Pro Counselling Sessions £50 per session
Sessions with a qualified therapist last fifty minutes and cost £50. Our fully qualified therapists offer a deeper level of experience and can support you with more complex or long standing difficulties. Many have worked in a range of settings and hold particular areas of interest or expertise, which means we can match you with someone who truly understands the kind of support you need.

At Strive, we aim to make counselling accessible, consistent, and fair. To help us offer weekly appointments and manage availability, we ask all clients to follow the booking and cancellation guidelines below.
Assessment
All new clients begin with a clinical assessment.
Assessments cost £25, paid when booking through PayPal.
This fee is credited back to you by making your twelfth session free if you continue counselling.
If you cancel an assessment with more than 48 hours notice, you may move the fee to another date.
The fee is non-refundable for cancellations within 48 hours or for missed appointments.
Session Costs
Strive Core: £25 per 50-minute session
Strive Pro: £50 per 50-minute session
All payments are made through PayPal (a PayPal account is not required).
Weekly Attendance
Clients are expected to attend weekly, either at a fixed time or arranged at the end of each session.
If weekly attendance becomes irregular, we will contact you to check in and offer support.
Cancellations and Charges
You can cancel or reschedule online if there are more than 48 hours before the session.
Cancellations within 48 hours and missed sessions are charged at the full session rate.
If you cancel a session, please rebook within seven days to keep your weekly space.
Rescheduling Within 48 Hours
You may contact your counsellor to request a reschedule. This depends on availability and is not guaranteed. If no suitable time can be offered, the session is still chargeable.
Cancellations by Strive
If Strive cancels a session, we will reschedule it at no additional cost; the fee transfers to your next appointment.
Your payments are processed through PayPal (an account is not necessary), so you can be assured that your personal details are handled securely.
